General Info

My favorite flavor of fics are shippy ones, but second favorite are character studies! Combining them is a chef's kiss.

In general, I love two extremes with relationships: Either the most toxic, codependent, messy pairings full of bottled up feelings, violent outbursts, hate sex, and poking at each other's wounds because they can't cope with their emotions OR the most tooth rotting fluffy cuddly couples on the planet that are just completely smitten for each other (and maybe some angsty pining along the way for a hurt/comfort HEA).

You know what's also good besides A and B? A AND B, together! Chocolate AND peanut butter! Give me one toxic awful broken girl and one sweet patient loving one. With this dynamic I appreciate any outcome, either a healing, positive vibe at the end or a corrupting darker ending that is fueled by toxic energy

Infinity Nikki

What I love about the source material: The beautiful clothes, first and foremost! Its an emphasis of the game and an emphasis of mine! I love the strange contrasts of the world and the lore; the light playful whimsical nature and the moodier subtexts in the lore of a broken world on the verge of plunging into darkness. I would be totally happy with a fic that explores the dark undercurrents in the world of Miraland, but also ship ideas below.

Nikki x Ena
Love the mentor/mentee relationship. Happy to see that explored or in conflict if Nikki goes against Ena's interests. Also did say she used to "dance with" Nikki's mom. Maybe she's trans and Nikki's parent? Possibilities! Very flexible with shipping them, including the trans (and incest) angle.

Nikki x Yue Bai
"Then this time, let me be the one to find you, and meet you all over again.", "I will wait millennia for you", "My world was shattered when you left". I am not sane about these two! Just let me wallow in some more of their beautiful angst or make it into something of a more HEA.

Elena of Avalor

What I love about the source material: An evil sorceress trapped the royal family of Avalor in a magic amulet for 41 years, and now that they're free, Elena, crown princess, must defend and protect her magical kingdom against threats both familiar and magical with lots of lore and culture from Latin America. The animation is beautiful, all the characters are lovable and well developed with their own desires and points of view.

The character of Elena (voiced by Aimee Carrero, also the voice of Adora from SatPoP) who fiery, proud, empathetic and desperate to prove she's worthy of the crown. Also, her best friend/loyal confidante is Naomi. She's also headstrong and loyal, but she often does what she thinks is best and is willing to do things Elena wont for the sake of the kingdom. While she ultimately does what she feels is right, she doesn't mind butting heads with Elena. She can be morally grey and is willing to get her hands dirty. But my favorite part of Naomi is how she often solves problems with gained information, reading books and the like, showing the egalitarian nature of knowledge. She has no innate magic, no spiritual guides, no royal treasury at her disposal, just a good head on her shoulders.

As an aside, Naomi is pale skinned and has blonde hair, sword fights, and oh did I mention her last name is Turner and her family are sailors? Little Pirates of the Caribbean nod?

Prompts: Anything that explores Elena's growing power and responsibility as Queen post-canon (it ends with her coronation). Dealing with the spirit realm, other kingdoms (feel free to bring in the greater animated Disney world), domestic challenges and have Naomi being either a close supportive confidante or a contrasting advocate (especially for the poor and dispossessed).
The Elena/Naomi ship: In a lot of ways its similar to the Rapunzel/Cass ship from Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. Both of them have a lot to prove to themselves and each other, and they might not know what their feelings even mean or haven't let themselves think about them in -that way-. Go do whatever you want!

Creature Commandos

What I love about the source material:
I love how no one is the good guys. The Bride is a BAMF. The adult themes and brutality of the world building. Love the big gothic castles juxtaposed with the crumbling old soviety urban environments. The amazing soundtrack creates such a wonderful and unique tone!

Give me all the canon divergences.
These two did not get enough screen time together, especially what with the Bride being originally from Pokolistan. Would love to see some missing scenes and moments between them. Could she have been loyal to the Princess if her freedom was bartered? Maybe the Bride knew some of the royal ancestors? Maybe she's MADE from some of them? :o

But the tension and hate at the end around Nina's death is what I especially like, and its over too quickly! This is a bit of a crack rare pair, but for shippy stuff, I'm always a sucker for enemies to lovers and hate sex, so I really like the potential ship dynamic there with a whole bucket of self-loathing and guilt on the Bride's part. Beauty and the Beast vibes, someone who views themselves as unlovable and unwantable and making being taken advantage of, or having honest feelings for them.
